We’re here to help you live as independently, safely, and comfortably as possible — in the place that matters most: your home

Domiciliary Care, sometimes called Home Care means receiving personal support at home, tailored to your individual needs and preferences. Whether you need daily help with practical tasks, occasional support, or more specialist care, our trained team is here to provide a reliable, respectful, and friendly service that fits into your life — not the other way around

We know that welcoming someone into your home is a big step. That’s why we work in partnership with you (and your family, where appropriate) to create a care plan that reflects your choices, your routine, and your wellbeing goals.

What you can expect

  • Personalised care and support based on your assessed needs and wishes

  • Punctual and consistent visits, with respectful communication at all times

  • Fully trained, friendly carers who are here to support you with dignity

  • Safe support with medications, as agreed in your care plan

  • Help with meals, hygiene, mobility, and light domestic tasks (within your package)

  • Regular check-ins, reviews, and the opportunity to provide feedback

  • Professionalism, privacy and respect in every interaction

What not to expect

While we’re here to help, there are a few things we are not able to do:

  • Act as a substitute for emergency medical services

  • Complete deep cleaning, housework beyond agreed light domestic tasks, or home maintenance

  • Handle your money or provide legal or financial advice

  • Perform medical procedures outside of our care remit

Some Common Questions

  • Services include:

    • Palliative Care

    • Dementia Care

    • Respite Care

  • If you or your loved one needs help with daily tasks, feeling isolated, or requires assistance to maintain their independence at home, Domiciliary Care could be a valuable option

We offer free consultations to assess needs and discuss how we can help

If you decide Domiciliary care is not what you expected you can change your mind. We need one months notice to end care

  • All our Support workers undergo rigorous background police checks, reference checks, and receive comprehensive ongoing training

Our carers are certified in the relevant areas and receive ongoing professional development to ensure they provide the highest quality care

  • The cost of Domiciliary Care varies depending on the type and frequency of services required

Domiciliary Care can be better value than care provided in a residential care home

We will work with you to develop a personalised care plan and provide a clear breakdown of costs

  • Yes. If one of our carers is supporting a married or cohabiting couple during the same visit, we can consider a reduced combined rate—so you're not paying twice for time spent in your home

Each person will receive separate care records, assessments, and personalised plans (as required by the regulatory standards)

Sharing a visit allows us to reduce some overheads. We pass those savings on to you wherever appropriate.

The level of discount depends on:

    • The complexity of each person’s care needs

    • Whether both individuals share similar routines or require similar support

    • How care is funded or commissioned

We’re often able to offer a higher reduction if both people require light or similar support, such as medication prompts or general assistance.

Will one carer always be enough?

Not always. If either person requires additional support—for safety, dignity, or clinical outcomes—we may recommend that two carers attend. In this case, our standard rates would likely apply to ensure care quality and compliance with safeguarding standards

All decisions are based on a professional assessment and discussed with you in advance, so nothing comes as a surprise.
