Palliative Care

If someone you love has a life-threatening illness, it can feel completely overwhelming. The tremendous emotional pain, the sense of impending loss, the desire to help your loved one with their symptoms, even just the practical pressures of coping with it all.

Our Palliative Care services gives you and your loved ones the support needed during this most difficult of times.

What is Palliative Care?

Palliative Care is designed for people who have a terminal illness that can’t be cured. The idea is to manage their pain and make them as comfortable as possible, for as long as possible. Some people, for instance, might receive Palliative Care for years.

Everyone has the right to choose where they spend the last days of their life. And for a lot of people, that means staying at home, surrounded by the friends and family who mean so much to them.

For those who choose End of Life Care, you can be sure we’ll do everything in our power to give your loved one the best quality of life we can. Which means treating them with dignity. Treating them like family. And helping them make the most of the time they have left with you.

Care at home is less disruptive than a hospice or hospital, making what is a difficult period that much more manageable.

What to expect from us

We’ll work with you to create a care plan that is tailored to your loved one’s needs. And ensure they’re as comfortable as possible in their own home. Some of these services include:

  • Making meals they won’t want to miss

  • Keeping track of their medication, and helping them take it if needed

  • Helping them manage any pain or discomfort

  • Doing everyday chores for them, whether that’s doing the food shop, cleaning or laundery
