If we have to provide care for longer than originally planned, for example at your request or in the event of an emergency, we will charge the additional time at the hourly rate for that day and time of day. We will charge the additional time on an hourly basis subject to a minimum charge is 1 hour

Mileage

Mileage Cost covers the expenses that your carer incurs traveling to and from your home. It is a reimbursement of your carers fuel costs and an allowance for the maintenance, depreciation, insurance and repairs to their vehicle

Mileage is calculated at a rate of 0.45p per mile

The Mileage Cost is calculated from your carers home to your home

If your carer is providing care for several different individuals in a day the cost is calculated from their previous appointment to your home

If your carer changes or your carers daily appointment schedule changes the Mileage Costs that we seek to reimburse from you will change

We can agree a fixed Mileage Cost based on the per mile cost if you prefer
